Southern Illinois Pet Photographer Finds Pet Groomers
We all love our pets; one of the important things to consider when owning a pet is their grooming care. Finding a qualified groomer is essential for your beloved pet’s health and happiness.
We, as pet owners, want to make sure that our animals are in capable hands. We want to make sure the environment is clean, safe, and sanitary.
Being on social media, I see the posts from people asking for great groomers in the Southern Illinois area often. So, as a local pet photographer, I decided to take a poll and ask the people who their favorite groomer was. I was able to meet and photograph 3 groomers from that poll!
Without further a-due (and in no particular order), I am pleased to announce 3 of the most voted for groomers in Southern Illinois!
Dirty Dog Company LLC- DOG Grooming

Lecsee White
Lecsee is a full time groomer and is the owner of Dirty Dog and is open Monday - Saturday by appointment only. Her full service salon does everything from nails to full grooms! She has a lot of experience with any Doodle or Poodle hair and loves to groom Shihtzus and Schnauzers. Arianna had an amazing amount of recommendations! Arianna also offers everything from nail trims to full grooming but also offers something SPECIAL. Are you looking for pet safe dye or even coat carving? Arianna is the one to see! Arianna’s full grooms for small dogs start at $50 and larger dogs start at $90. Ashlyn Sharp
Ashlyn Sharp, owner of Sharp Performance Pet Services, was another local groomer who was recommended a lot. Ashlyn always wanted to work with animals and grew up focusing on her studies on Veterinarian medicine. After working in retail, she came across a job opening as a groomer; she never looked back!
Ashlyn worked in a retail chain as a groomer but now has the unique opportunity to have her business operate out of her home (lucky, I know!). She offers full service baths and grooms; she also offers a la carte items. Not only does she groom your typical pets like dogs, but she also is familiar with rabbits, ferrets, and even guinea pigs. This is so important for the exotic animal owner!
