Hello!, I'm Brittany Callahan, the heart and soul behind Brittany Callahan Photography. Specializing in luxury equine and canine photography, I create authentic, emotional portraits that reflect the powerful bond between you and your beloved animals. Based in Southern Illinois, I’ve had the privilege of traveling across the U.S. to capture unforgettable moments for fellow pet lovers and equestrians.
Photography found me in a special way—during a photoshoot with my Dalmatian, Pixel. It was an unforgettable experience, and I knew I wanted to bring the same joy and memories to others. Combining my lifelong passion for dogs and horses with a keen eye for detail, I’ve spent the past two years turning moments into memories.
What sets me apart is my genuine connection with animals. With years of experience in the equine and canine world, I understand how to make both pets and their owners feel at ease. My sessions aren’t just photoshoots; they’re experiences designed to capture the deep love you have for your horse or dog.
When I’m not behind the lens, I love spending time with my boyfriend playing video games. We share those moments to unwind and connect. I’m also an avid reptile enthusiast and breed ball pythons—a unique passion that keeps me curious and adventurous. You’ll often find me outdoors with Pixel, whether we’re exploring new trails or trying out new dog sports. And if I’m traveling, Maine is my favorite escape for its serene forests and perfect weather, though the West Coast is definitely on my bucket list!
